Reservations & Operations ManagerAs a child, my diet was limited, primarily consisting of soutzoukakia - meatballs in tomato sauce, a traditional Greek dish.
That presented a significant challenge for my mum, who was an air hostess and loved taking us traveling with her. She would tirelessly search for Greek restaurants worldwide, only to discover I wouldn't like them because they didn't serve homemade soutzoukakia!
At the age of 7, she proposed taking me to Singapore, asking if I would be willing to try other foods. I stubbornly refused, ultimately missing out on that trip.
Feeling left out when my family went without me, I decided to expand my culinary horizons. Slowly but surely, I began trying new foods, and with that, my geographical horizons expanded too!
Through this experience, I learned two valuable lessons: a) I can be very headstrong, and b) most problems have solutions.
These traits have shaped who I am today: working in operations for the travel industry and seizing every opportunity to explore new places and cuisines.
I am passionate about exploring the world and helping others find their own adventure and passions!
