tour leaderI think I spent most summers of my childhood traveling from Athens to Paris by car while crossing several other countries. Actually, most of my childhood memories are linked to those endless travels and the joy of discovering something new or rediscovering something I had missed in my previous trip. At the end of each of those road trips what I missed the most was the sea, the feeling of peace and plenitude it filled me with. I felt that no holidays could be complete without spending a few days by the beach, days that had to end staring at the sun disappearing behind the mountains. The French poet Arthur Rimbaud once wrote that "Eternity is the sea mingled with the sun " and I guess there' s a little bit of truth of that in me.
