What you can expect

Let the games begin!

Each participant will be given new identities for the day, characters carved out of history, myth or generalization. Are you a goddess, an Olympic athlete a warrior hero, a corrupt politician, a wealthy ship owner or an indomitable Greek grandmother? Your new role in life comes with a set of assignment cards and some character props that will either help or get in the way.

Your groups will be split up into teams, each with a team leader, and you’ll be sent to different points on the map. Then, in couples or groups of three, you’ll have to carry out tasks that requires working together. Your assignment will be related to everyday life in Greece and to the roles you’ve been assigned. Of course, you’ll have to document your successes, so practice those selfie smiles!

There are also tasks for the whole team, including some based on Ancient Athens – after all, this isn’t the first time the city has found itself in a difficult spot. These tasks will involve everyone, and each team have to use all the individuals’ talents they can call on to restore the city to its glory.

In all, everyone will take part in six tasks in two different neighborhoods of Old & New Athens. For those who like to keep score, the winning team will be the one that completes all their assignments within time. But the real prize will be shared out among everyone – a great experience, a day of fun to remember and a slightly better understanding of Greece, Greeks, Athens and each other!

An original and enjoyable game that explores team-building and creative problem-solving from the fun side

"Our guide was superb and not only set the tone for our stay in Athens, but our approach to our whole holiday. The idea behind this 4 hour walking tour is to show the different areas of Athens but it's so much more than that. As newbies to the city, with very little to use as a reference point, this tour was brilliant.’’"

"We did the night tour with Antonis on our first day in Athens - what a fabulous way to start our trip! Antonis took us to five stellar bars that we would definitely not have found on our own - unique drinks, amazing food and lovely atmosphere at each of them. Antonis himself seems to know everybody at every bar - not surprising given what a fun and awesome guy he is! We cannot recommend the tour with Antonis enough - he is awesome and the tour is an absolute must do in Athens!!"

"We had one day in Athens while on a cruise. Our guides made history come alive and took us to many hidden treasures that most tourists would not see. Both of them spoke excellent English and were very enthusiastic and friendly. I would highly recommend this small, innovative, private tour company to anyone."
