Life should be like bungee jumping: we're meant to take leaps in our lives, moments when we choose to be daring and forget to be afraid. I am most alive in those moments of free-falling, whether it's actually jumping out into thin air or just making the same kind of gravity-defying decisions in my own life, like the choice I made when I was studying Hospitality and Tourism Management to concentrate on the field of Food and Beverage. And when I found that this wasn't the path I wanted to be on, I jumped again, taking with me the lessons I'd learned along the way, including the importance of finding an environment that helps you grow and become a better person.
This time, my leap of faith took me to a different field in the tourism industry, the world of Travel Design. I attended seminars and workshops that prepared me for what I'm doing today, and when I interviewed for the position of Travel Designer at Alternative Athens, I knew that this company was the perfect fit for me! What I enjoy the most is the great team spirit. Here, your colleagues help you achieve your goals, both professionally and personally. In fact, I'd say this leap was one of the best professional choices I’ve made so far in my life, and it's been so good that, for now at least, my “jumping-mania” is focused only on the real deal as I organize and join in on extreme free-falls all around Greece in wonderful places like the Samaria Gorge, on the island of Crete. What do you say – want to give it a try with me? You might find that you love it, too!
